Toucan Tip #4: Child Badge Policy
Planning on bringing your kids to Comic-Con 2024? Everything you need to know for a lively family weekend is here in this post!
Comic-Con is proud to offer one of the most generous child badge policies in the industry. Children (age 12 and under) are free with a paying adult!
Children do not need to create a Comic-Con Member ID to receive a complimentary badge. You may register up to two children per paid adult attendee. Children must be present to be registered for a badge and adults will be required to provide emergency contact information for any child registrant. Please visit the Registration Area when you arrive on-site for more information.
- If they were at least 13 years old on July 31, 2023, they must have had a junior badge purchased for them to attend Comic-Con 2024.
- If your child was age 12 or under on July 31, 2023, they do not need a purchased badge for Comic-Con 2024. They may attend as a child for free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult.

Have a badge for Comic-Con 2024? Locate your badge type below to determine where to pick up a complimentary badge for your child to attend with you! Your child must be present to receive their badge.
ATTENDEES : Please proceed to the Sails Pavilion on the upper floor, where you can go to either Attendee Badge Pick-Up or the Badge Solutions Desk to pick up a badge for your child.
PROFESSIONALS : Please make your way to the Sails Pavilion on the upper floor, and head towards the Professionals Desk in the Industry Registration Area to pick up a child badge. Child badges are also available at the Badge Solutions Desk or Attendee Badge Pick-Up.
PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS : Please make your way to the Sails Pavilion on the upper floor, and head towards the Program Participants Desk in the Industry Registration Area to pick up a child badge. Child badges are also available at the Badge Solutions Desk or Attendee Badge Pick-Up.
If your child will be 13 years old as of July 31, 2024, hold on to their child badge! There will be an opportunity for them to become eligible to participate in the Comic-Con 2025 Returning Registration badge sale. Check our Child Badge Policy after Comic-Con 2024 for more information.
